What to do when your coverage period is ending.

Are you leaving the company you currently work at ? Retiring ? Your coverage is about to end, and you would like to continue being insured with Alan ?

OPTION 1: You may be eligible for individual continuation ⤵️

💡 You are entitled to continue your insurance on an individual basis if you have had health insurance with comparable coverage for the last two years without interruption. In this case, you do not have to fill in a medical questionnaire.

💸 The monthly premium to be paid is determined according to the age of the insured person (if you would like a copy of the premium table, please ask us in the 'talk to support' chat in your app).

Individual continuation is not an obligation, but a possibility. If you wish to opt for personal insurance, you must let us know within 30 days after your coverage ends. 📅

You can do this by letting us know via the chat. All we need to establish the contract is :

  • a proof of coverage for the last two years

  • and your home address.

OPTION 2: When you decide not to sign up for individual continuation ⤵️

💡 You can still apply for reimbursements in the app even after your coverage ends.

Attention: this only applies when the date of care took place during the previous coverage period.
