Why should I select a shared room for my hospitalization?

When declaring my hospitalization in the app, I get the question if I want to select a shared room instead of a single room.

"When declaring my hospitalization in the app, I get the question if I want to select a shared room instead of a single room. But why would I do that?"

Good question! Here is why👇

🛌 A Double Room

Did you know that the quality of medical care in a double room is identical to the one in a single room?

"Yes okay, but I'm compromising on extra comfort, right?"

We understand this concern. However, it’s not necessarily true.

For both short-term stays and longer stays, interacting with fellow patients, and sharing experiences, could perhaps even make your stay go by faster... Or perhaps the stay is so short that you won't even notice a difference!

So what do you think, opting for a shared room this time? 🤝

🔒 Your Choice & Your Privacy

Of course, we understand the importance of privacy & some alone time. Especially during the challenging times of being hospitalized. So, if after reading this, you still prefer a single room, that’s absolutely okay for us. Your well-being and comfort are essential & we are happy to support you with that.

👶 First-time Parents : if you are currently expecting your first child, we totally understand you would prefer to opt for a single room. Certain aspects of giving birth might still be unfamiliar, and this obviously deserves extra privacy and comfort.

Don't hesitate to reach out to us in case you'd have any other questions about this.
